  1. The Wider Earth – Kids go free at the Natural History Museum, London.

The museum’s Jerwood Gallery has been turned into a theatre to house a production by Australia’s Dead Puppet Society, telling the story of Charles Darwin’s five-year-long voyage on HMS Beagle. Written, directed and co-designed by David Morton. 

The play is brought to life by a cast of seven, alongside remarkable puppetry, an original cinematic score, and dazzling animations, The Wider Earth is an extraordinary theatrical event about the theory that changed everything.

 

You will be left in awe by the thirty lifelike puppets representing the tropical wildlife Darwin encountered. From tiny Galápagos finches, to giant tortoises, armadillos, shoals of exotic fish and a duck-billed platypus, you’ll find it hard to take your eyes off them. 

  1. Witness For The Prosecution - London County Hall, Southbank London.

Lucy Bailey’s production of Agatha Christie’s ingenious courtroom drama is now playing at London County Hall.

Witness for the Prosecution is staged in a unique court room setting inside County Hall. Developed with the support and involvement of the Christie family, the new production is directed by Lucy Bailey and will place the audience in the centre of the action within the court room. 

Come and step inside the magnificent surroundings of London County Hall and experience the intensity and drama of Agatha Christie’s gripping story of justice, passion and betrayal in a unique courtroom setting.
