From the creators of Alice's Adventures Underground, The Trench and The Terrible Infants comes a brand new puppetry masterclass for professional actors.
Whether you are brand new to working with puppets, or an experienced puppeteer, Les Enfants Terribles will guide you through various different styles and techniques of puppetry in the morning session run by experienced puppeteer Richard Booth, and an afternoon working with James Seager, Les Enfants Terribles' director and puppetry director on a number of our hit shows!
The workshop will run from 10am - 6pm on Friday 9th November (venue TBC). Cost of the full day's workshop is £80.

Richard trained at Mountview Academy of Dramatic Arts. He is a founding member and Associate Artist of Flabbergast Theatre, with whom he has devised and performed in the critically acclaimed Boris & Sergey's Vaudevillian Adventure, Perilous Escapade, Astonishing Freakatorium, and the ‘Preposterous Improvisation Experiment’ at the Edinburgh Festival, Soho Theatre, Pleasance, Old Vic Tunnels, Latitude Festival, Wilton’s Music Hall, The Kings Head, Little Angel Theatre and Shakespeare’s Globe to name a few. Other Work in Theatre includes War Horse [New London Theatre], BFG [Bolton Octagon], Hansel & Gretel [Citizens Theatre], Clockwork Canaries [Theatre Royal Plymouth], Alice’s Adventures Underground [The Vaults], Terrible Infants [Wiltons Music Hall]. He has previously taught Puppetry workshops for, Mountview Academy of Dramatic Arts, East 15, West End Workshops and the Actor’s Centre.
James Seager is LET’s Producer and Director. Involved initially as an actor, he moved to producing and directing shows in 2005. He has produced many award-winning shows for the company including The Infant, Immaculate, and The Terrible Infants which he also directed and returned for a sell out run last year. In 2009 he produced Ernest and the Pale Moon for its UK tour.
In 2010 he directed the award winning The Vaudevillains which returned in 2016. He also directed and produced The Trench when it toured in 2012.
In 2015 he co-directed and produced Les Enfants Terribles most successful show to date, Alice’s Adventures Underground which was seen by over 95,000 people and was nominated for an Olivier award. It returned in 2017 to London and opens in Shanghai this year.
Other immersive shows include directing The Game’s Afoot and producing Dinner at the Twits.
