Introduction to the cast of Alice in Wonderland

The Alice in Wonderland theatre show is heading to the Marylebone Theatre this summer, taking audiences down the rabbit hole with Alice as she embarks on an unforgettable adventure. Adapted by Penny Farrow and directed by Nate Bertone, the production brings Lewis Carroll’s bizarre caper to life with extraordinary puppets, ornate costumes and an original score. A talented cast has been assembled for the new production, which runs from 12 July until 31 August. Perfect for families with young children, it’s just 60 minutes long with no interval. Let’s take a look at the stars of the Alice in Wonderland show.

Charlotte Bradley - Alice

An up-and-coming actress with theatre and TV credits already to her name, Charlotte Bradley appeared as Maz in Channel 4’s BAFTA-winning miniseries, How to be a Person. She made her West End debut in 2023 as Understudy Rosie in The Unfriend (Criterion Theatre) and featured in the final episode of ITV’s Vera as Chloe Spencer. Alice is her first lead role in a major production. 

Eddie Ahrens - Cheshire Cat

A graduate of the Guildford School of Acting, Eddie Ahrens has appeared in the Monopoly Lifesized immersive game experience, as well as playing Kam in Jock Night at Manchester’s Hive North and London’s Seven Dials Playhouse. His credits also include Common Ground and A Force to Be Reckoned With, both by the Mikron Theatre Company. 

Clare Brice - White Rabbit

Cardiff-born Clare Brice trained at Millennium Performing Arts in London and has enjoyed a successful career as an actress and dancer. Her theatre credits include the UK tour of Fireman Sam, and she has appeared in the BBC’s Gavin and Stacey

Honey Gabriel - Hatter

British-Nigerian actress Honey Gabriel completed her Diploma in Professional Acting at Drama Studio London in 2019 and has since appeared in the BBC’s Doctors and HBO’s The Nevers. Her theatre credits include A Sherlock Carol, Bossy and Gimme Shelter. She also worked on the short film, The World is Your Blobfish. 

Matthew Heywood - Hare

A graduate of the Manchester School of Theatre, Matthew Heywood has appeared in a variety of productions, including The Hole (National Youth Theatre), Robin Hood (Northcott Theatre) and Snow White & The Seven Dwarfs (Anton Benson Productions). Most recently, he worked on The Borrowers (The Dukes Theatre) and Little Shop of Horrors, a joint production between several theatres.

Daniel Page - Queen of Hearts

Trained at the Academy of Live and Recorded Arts, Daniel Page has had an illustrious career to date. His previous roles include Edna Turnblad in Hairspray, Mr Braithwaite in Billy Elliot, Roger DeBris in The Producers and Bob in Priscilla Queen of the Desert. His TV credits include Farmer Gout in Worzel Gummidge.
